Renee Leigh Exclusive Interview

Where are you from, and how would you describe your life growing up?

I’m from a small town in Central Maine.  My life was pretty picturesque.  Lucky to have a big supportive family, and friends to push me to be better in sports and academically.

How did you find your way in front of a camera, modeling?

It started by making fun and silly videos for TikTok actually.  My fan base grew and my husband supported my transition into trying out some modeling.  I’m still learning.

What do you like best about being a model?

Making connections to kind and interesting people from all over the world.

Besides modeling what is the most important thing in your life?  Do you have any unusual talents?

Family is always #1.  I have 2 beautiful and smart kiddos who bring me joy and keep me young.   One talent I have is being a terrific 1st mate when we go out on the boat. Haha.

We all need support in life.  Where do you get your support?  What or who inspires you?

My husband is my rock and my number one supporter.  He compliments me and encourages me to try new things.  He is the perfect partner when modeling gets crazy and he provides many of the creative ideas for some of my best content!  He is my behind the scenes cameraman when needed also!  I couldn’t ask for anything more!

What do you think is the most challenging thing about modeling and what advice would you give to new models?

While I’m still learning myself but what has been helpful for me so far is making connections and getting advice from the women I look up to.  Build a base of supportive followers by engaging with them when you can, and have fun and enjoy the type of content you put out.

What is your favorite way to relax?  What do you do for fun?

Boating on the lake and soaking up the sun with a drink in my hand!

You look amazing.  What do you recommend for those wanting to keep in shape?

Consistency with workouts and eating smart.  I try to eat high protein, fairly low sugar, low carbohydrate foods. For workouts I try to spend 30 mins to an hour 3-4 times a week. I stick to mainly cardio and body resistance type of workouts.

What would you consider your strongest attribute?  What do guys compliment you most on?

Besides the girls (because my upper body definitely get the most attention) I get lots of compliments on my eyes and my glasses.

Anything about your heritage, ethnicity, or nationality that you feel people would like to know?

I have some connections to Canada.  The ‘Chez’ in cheznaynay is French for “the home of”.  I chose it because I was ready to let my fans in and see a little more of me.

Please share something about yourself that may surprise others.  What is the most adventurous thing you have ever done?

One of the biggest risks I took was stepping away from a 15 year career to try out modeling.  I knew it would take more time and hard work, but I was determined to make it happen.

What are your dreams and goals and ambitions?

I would love to become successful enough as a model where I can support my family without also needing a day job.  Right now I work in the finance dept for a company in Portland during the day.

If you were in a magical machine that could transport you to any place and time imaginable, where would you love to be?  Why?

I am a little nerdy and am always interested in history.  I think I would choose to visit the pyramids during the peak of the Ancient Egyptian civilization or maybe Ancient Greece!

What’s one thing about yourself that everyone should know?

I may be 37 and a mom of two, but I’ve never felt this good about how I feel and look.  The time and effort you spend on yourself does pay off.
